  11. of the very best coders in
  12. Denmark. Names like »CL8:Blueberry
  13. of Efreet» - one of the makers of
  14. »CL5:Peanut» (that won the 4K-intro
  15. compo at »CL5:TP6»), »CL8:Powdihacker
  16. of Ambrosia» - the main coder
  17. behind the promising doom-clone
  18. '»CL5:Genetic Species»' have
  19. suddenly joined forces in »CL8:Puzzle»
  20. to make a major breakthrough in

  45. I grabbed hold of the organizer of
  46. »CL8:Puzzle», »CL8:Tricktrax», to hear
  47. what this was all about.

  53. grabs hold of so many talented members
  54. from the scene? Are you having major
  55. plans, or do you suffer from
  56. megalomanina :-) ?
  57. »CL6:T: Well, because many members were
  58. going more or less inactive and »CL8:Puzzle»
  59. seemed to be dying slowly, I decided
  60. to clean out the memberlist and find
  61. out who really wanted to do some
  62. serious work for the »CL9:Amiga». That left
  63. us with only a few good coders and as
  64. everybody knows groups need coders.
  65. Without being arrogant, I think I can
  66. say that »CL8:Puzzle» is one of Denmark's
  67. best groups, so it wasn't really hard
  68. to get some of the best Danish sceners
  69. to join. I just asked them politely
  70. and they accepted. :) Hopefully we can
  71. get the DK scene going again.
  72. Currently we have plans for a demo and
  73. a musicdisk, but we are always working
  74. for future projects. We are still
  75. looking for new members, preferrably
  76. Danes, but we will not grow much
  77. bigger than we are now.

  79. hear. I also like your selfesteem! But
  80. tell me, how do you see the Danish
  81. scene now? Will there be any
  82. competition? Or do you feel that all
  83. of the Danish elitecoders are now
  84. gathered in »CL8:Puzzle» - sort of like »CL8:TBL»
  85. with their graphicians?
  86. »CL6:T: Selfesteem is good, arrogancy is
  87. not. Well, the Danish scene now is not
  88. nearly as big as it was when I started
  89. with Amiga. Many old groups are very
  90. silent without being proclaimed dead,
  91. but I don't think we'll hear much from
  92. them again. »CL8:Impact DK» left the »CL9:amiga»
  93. which I think was a huge loss, and
  94. there aren't many big new groups.
  95. However, one has to be careful not to
  96. overlook the new groups. There is a
  97. number of up-and-comming new groups
  98. and some of their members are going to
  99. be very good, I think. About the
  100. competition, I think it is much easier
  101. to keep going if there's someone you
  102. have to be better than. That is
  103. probably one of the best motivations
  104. you can get. As a group I don't think
  105. there's much competition for »CL8:Puzzle» in
  106. DK (yet), but as individuals there's
  107. plenty of competition for us in DK,
  108. so... But I think I better keep my
  109. head a bit low in case we should be
  110. beaten by newcomers in the near
  111. future. :)
